Scheduled Luxury Private 4WD sightseeing transfer via Katoomba

Itinerary
This morning you will be met by your Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa Guide at your hotel or on arrival at Sydney airport. Upon entering your private luxury 4WD vehicle, you will soon depart the city heading towards the lower Blue Mountains. Travelling to the township of Katoomba, we will have some time to view the famous Three Sisters Rock formation. Your guide will speak of Aboriginal dreamtime and interpret their amazing culture.

Enjoy stunning views as your guide accesses remote sightseeing locations so that you can enjoy the best that this World Heritage listed vista has to offer. Enjoy a beautifully prepared morning tea before continuing on to Mt Victoria and the quaint township of Lithgow. Heading east we enter the Wolgan Valley. Marvel at the sheer rock escarpments and rugged geography of this unique landscape.

On arrival you will be met by Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa staff for an introduction to your Wolgan Valley experience.

Notes:

• One way scheduled and flexible departures and/or the two itinerary options can be combined for a round trip, subject to guest requirements. Return transfer is similar itinerary in reverse. Pick up and drop off from/to Sydney hotel or airport (with meet & greet service).
• Guides will wait for 30 minutes before considering guest a no-show. They will try to contact agent where possible to track guests.
• For scheduled departures ex Sydney airport or hotel, if guests are more than 30 minutes late for the transfer, flexible departure rates will apply with the difference charged to the guests account.
• Please provide to your clients Australian Wild Escapes’ telephone number in the events of any delays, 1300 792 213.
• Meeting point for Domestic Arrivals is at the baggage claim area of the flight. The guide will be waiting with a sign and a baggage trolley.
• Meeting point for International Arrivals is the Arrivals Lounge. The guide will be waiting with a sign.
• Extra charges will apply if guests are more than 30 minutes late for their transfer from Wolgan Valley to Sydney.
• Land transfers are operated by a third party, where information listed is subject to change without notice.

Cancellation Policy:

• Transfers cancelled up to 7 days prior – no cancellation fee applies
• Transfers cancelled within 7 days of transfer – 50% cancellation fee applies
• Transfers cancelled within 7 days of transfer – 50% cancellation fee applies

*Payload available is expressed as a maximum and is a combination of both passengers and luggage. (Passenger body weights must be supplied prior to confirmation and for legal and safety reasons, all passengers are weighed prior to boarding the helicopter)
Personal luggage should be in soft bags for helicopter transfers. Excess luggage can be stored at the Aviation Tourism Australia’s facility at Mascot or delivered to the resort by road at extra charge.

Rate includes:

• Storage of any excess luggage at the Aviation Tourism Australia’s facility at Mascot
• Courtesy shuttle bus transfers from both Sydney CBD hotels or domestic and international terminals.
• Complimentary parking is available for self-drive guests.

Notes:

• Travel time is between 50-60 minutes one way
• Helicopter can only operate during daylight hours
• Operation is subject to weather conditions
• Sights, flight paths and flight times may vary due to weather, air traffic control or pilot discretion
• Helicopter transfers are not available 25th and 26th December 2011 and 1st January 2012.
• Air transfers are operated by a third party, where information listed is subject to change without notice.
• Luggage restrictions apply: Luggage to be packed in soft bags only. Maximum size dimensions are 65cm x 40cm x 30cm and up to 15kgs per piece.
  • Aircraft type Robinson R44 can accommodate a maximum of 2 bags
  • Aircraft type Bell 407 can accommodate a maximum of 3 bags
  • Aircraft type EC120 can accommodate a maximum of 4 bags

Cancellation Policy:

• Flights cancelled with over 24 hours notice – no charge
• Flights cancelled with 24 hours notice – 50% fee
• Flights cancelled on day of tour – 100% of tour
• If passengers elect not to travel due to weather but flight is still operational, 100% cancellation fee applies
